Currently July

Happy July!!???  How is it July??!!  I've said it before but now that I've read it so many times, I know I'm not the only one to say 'Where is our summer going??!!!'  I hope everyone is enjoying their week so far. I'm liking up with Farley from Oh' Boy 4th Grade for the currently  linky today.

Listening-  Little man Hudson is actually enjoying some time on his play mat right now and coooooooing away! It's so fun to hear his happy talk through the house now as it's becoming more of a daily occurance.

Loving-  The last two weeks or so it has been crazy humid here in Wisconsin.  So much so that some days we were between 95-99% humidity...ICK!!!!  Between that and the crazy storms that have been coming through at night, I am happy to say that today is a beautiful day.  Not toooooo hot, or too cold.  It's perfect with a breeze and we have turned the air off (for now) and are enjoying the weather.

Thinking- One of the biggest things that I love about summer is that I have NO clue what day of the week it is...ever!

Wanting-  My hubby and I are starting to throw out the idea of selling our house and moving.  We wouldn't be moving far, but we would be building our very own house.  There is so much that goes into this process including selling our current home.  My head is spinning....but I really want to do it!

Needing- The piles have started to form.  Laundry that's not folded that needs to be, stuff that's folded that needs to be put away, random books and craft supplies on the counter, along with baby stuff.  Our house is being taken over by baby stuff.  Who knew that such a small person could own so much stuff!! I really need to clean/organize!!!

4th Plans- We really don't have any set plans this year which is unusual.  We always do a 5K Run for Freedom on the 4th with my family, but my mom has to go out of town because my grandpa isn't doing well.  They are also in the process of moving and have a million things to think about. So we may just lay low...go park in their newly poured driveway and sit and watch fireworks.  Too bad their house wasn't done a month earlier.... Oh well..sometimes the best plans are the ones you don't really make!

I hope everyone has an amazing 4th weekend!!!  Be sure to check back and link up with Farley or read what others are up to this first day of July!

  6. I would love to be able to build our own home. We always say that if our dream piece of land ever goes up for sale we would buy it and build. However, we are not sure if it ever will be up for sell so who knows, lol. Best of luck! Also love the fact that the windows are open. One of my favorite things about the summer on the mountain!
