Positive Thinking Thursday: Breathe, Trust & Let Go

Happy Thursday! I'm happy to be linking up today with my pal Jennifer from Mrs. Laffin's Laughings for her Positive Thinking Thursday Linky!

I don't know about you but the teacher in me feels the need to plan everything!!  I sometimes get borderline crazy when I'm trying to figure things out that don't always need figuring!  We officially decided last night to put our house up for sale and see what happens. I'm stressing....but I just need to sit back and breathe....and trust that all happens for a reason and all will be just fine!  It's hard not to always have a plan.  So since it's sweet summertime, do just that..... and realize that you don't always need a plan.  Enjoy the ride!!

If you're looking for some more positive thoughts be sure to stop by Jennifer's blog to link up or read what others have shared.

Have an awesome day!

  1. What a great reminder, even during the summer, as we are trying to prepare things for next year. I too, am an ultimate planner. I have had to work really hard to be the 'flexible' teacher everyone talks about. Best of luck with selling the house! I know that can be a scary process, so just try to let go and see what happens! :-)

  2. I'm a planner so this one is hard to do! Wise words though. Some of our best vacations were times we did something spontaneous rather than a scripted day!

  3. And this my friend is why I'm such a wonderful napper. I just stop, breathe, and fall asleep. I think today when Hudson takes his nap you need to do the same thing. You'll thank me later. Oh....a new home will be so fun for me to read about. Keep me posted!!!

  4. Great advice. I might be a little too flexible . I never have plans. I need to be a little more organized like you. I'm kinda fly by the seat of your pants kinda girl. I wish you luck in selling your house.

  5. All I can say is "AMEN!!" Whatever is meant to be will be and we really have little control over that. Glad to hear that you and Jeremy have made your decision. I'm sure it was not easy for you. I'm with Alison -- when things get to be too much, go take a nap. :)
